Essential CarPlay Package for VW Transporter T6.1 (Nov 2019–2022)

What's retained, and what still needs checking

• KIT: Standard Installation Kit - CTKVW47 (VW) (CTKVW47). MIB II platform. Connects2's own fitment note states this kit is "for vehicles with a shallow depth unit only".
• RETAINED: steering wheel controls, multi-function-display info, parking sensor display — via Connects2's own Infodapter interface (CTUVW04).
• CONDITION: VW Transporter T6.1, 2019 on. Head unit must be a genuine shallow/reduced-depth chassis — Kenwood's own listing states a reduced-depth chassis for this model, but this has not been independently measured against this van's dash cavity.
• CONDITION: if your van has factory eCall/We Connect and you want to keep it, ask us for kit CTKVW52 instead (identical fit, +£1, adds eCall retention) — this package uses CTKVW47, which does not retain eCall.
• NOT CONFIRMED: whether this van has the optional factory-amplified "Sound System" upgrade — mentioned in Alpine's own T6.1 documentation, but not addressed by either kit's own fitment data.
• LABOUR: not included in this price - Dream-ice workshop rate is £90 + VAT per hour; we'll confirm the hours for your vehicle.
