Premium CarPlay Package for Audi A4 2008-2016 (non-MMI)

What's retained, and what still needs checking

• KIT: Standard Installation Kit - CTKAU11 (Audi) (CTKAU11).
• RETAINED (Connects2 CTUAU03 interface manual - the interface inside CTKAU11): steering wheel controls and phone button functionality; factory aerial.
• RETAINED: parking sensor audio and on-screen display, via the head unit's own screen.
• CONDITION: non-MMI vehicles only. MMI-equipped cars need a different kit.
• CONDITION: this kit is built for NON-AMPLIFIED Audi A4/A5 factory systems (confirmed by the interface manufacturer). If your car has Bose or another amplified factory system, this kit will not integrate correctly - please confirm your factory system with us before ordering.
• NOT RETAINED: the factory amplifier. This kit wires the speakers directly to the new head unit's own amplifier.
• REVERSING CAMERA: the interface can carry a factory-fitted camera’s feed to the new head unit, OR add an aftermarket camera - not both at the same time. Whether your A4 has a factory camera depends on its original specification; ask us to check before ordering.
• AUDIO CONNECTION: checked against the interface manufacturer’s own manual - audio uses speaker-level (ISO) wiring, not RCA. The RCA connection on this kit carries the reversing camera video feed. Every head unit in this range (Pioneer / Alpine) also has its own RCA pre-outs per the manufacturer’s specification, for anyone wanting to add an external amplifier separately.
• LABOUR: not included in this price - Dream-ice workshop rate is £90 + VAT per hour; we’ll confirm the hours for your vehicle.
