HELIX AMPLIFY 204 X-OVER - AC20420
Very compact 4-channel amplifier with crossover and DirectDSP function
With the AMPLIFY series, HELIX redefines the idea of modern amplifier design – by reinterpreting classic concepts through the lens of today’s audio demands. Rather than designing one amplifier to do everything, the focus lies on specialized models, each tailored for a specific type of application. This clear philosophy ensures every variant delivers exactly what’s needed – and nothing you don’t.
- Highly efficient amplifier with high output power of up to 240 Watts RMS @ 2 Ohms per channel for impressive dynamics and powerful sound
- Bridgeable output channels for flexible system configurations and maximum power output
- Very compact design for space-saving installation
- Start-stop capability down to 6V supply voltage for uninterrupted performance
- Integrated active crossover with high- and lowpass filters as well as input mode switch for optimal system configuration
- DirectDSP function – input signal bypasses the integrated, active crossover and is routed unfiltered to the output stage of the amplifier
- Smart highlevel input with ADEP.3 for trouble-free integration into OEM sound systems
- Advanced Class D concept for high efficiency and low heat dissipation
The 2-Series marks the entry into the AMPLIFY platform – and forms its technical and tonal core. These compact Class D amplifiers combine powerful performance, a fully bridgeable multi-channel architecture, and excellent efficiency with seamless real-world integration. Brilliant and precise treble, a controlled mid-range as well as tight, powerful bass – the 2-Series brings out every nuance of natural, powerful sound, outperforming the expectations of its class in both sound quality and output. Whether as a DIRECT, X-OVER, or DSP variant (coming in summer 2025): from flexible 6-channel setups for fullrange applications to dedicated mono powerhouses for subwoofers – the 2-Series offers tailored solutions for every configuration.
AMPLIFY 204 – The versatile solution for fullrange applications
The AMPLIFY 204 amplifiers combine four fully bridgeable outputs with outstanding sound quality and impressive performance – ideal for powerful front-end or multi-channel setups. Whether as a classic 4-channel system, a 3-channel configuration with subwoofer, or a bridged 2-channel layout: the 204 adapts flexibly to a wide range of vehicles and system requirements. With an output of 4 x 100 watts RMS at 4 Ω, 4 x 190 watts RMS at 2 Ω, or 2 x 380 watts RMS bridged at 4 Ω, it delivers more than enough power for ambitious setups. Available as an X-OVER version with integrated active crossover or a DIRECT model optimized for pure signal transmission via external DSPs – always with a focus on superior sound performance.
Sound and power – above the standard
The AMPLIFY 2-Series is more than just a range of application-specific solutions – it's a clear commitment to a very specific mission: to outperform expectations in each of those applications – both in sound quality and power delivery. All amplifiers in the series offer brilliant sound performance, minimal distortion, and an outstanding signal-to-noise ratio – combined with fully bridgeable multi-channel outputs for maximum output and installation flexibility. The result: a lineup that doesn’t define itself by its class, but sets new benchmarks within it – making AMPLIFY the first choice for those seeking application-focused performance without compromise.
AMPLIFY X-OVER – Maximum flexibility for classic upgrades
The AMPLIFY X-OVER models are the ideal choice for conventional sound upgrades using factory or aftermarket head units. At the heart of these models lies the integrated active crossover, featuring high-quality adjustable high- and lowpass filters as well as an input mode switch. This enables precise signal tuning and simplifies the implementation of various system configurations. Whether you’re running an active front system with separate tweeter and woofer channels, passive front and rear speaker setups, or a combined front system with a subwoofer via bridged channels – the X-OVER models provide maximum flexibility for system design. Switchable highlevel and RCA inputs with up to 16 V input sensitivity allow seamless integration into nearly any OEM or aftermarket environment. The integrated ADEP.3 circuit ensures error-free communication with factory radios, while the automatic turn-on function reduces installation complexity. As an additional feature, the DirectDSP function allows the input signal to bypass the internal crossover entirely and be routed unfiltered to the output stage – perfect for users who plan to upgrade their system with an external DSP later on.
Form follows performance
The design of the HELIX AMPLIFY 2-Series blends modern functionality with a refined, technical aesthetic. Its compact dimensions allow for flexible installation, even in tight spaces. A removable top cover conceals all connections and controls, offering additional protection as well as a clean and streamlined appearance that highlights the amplifier’s high-quality character. Matte surfaces, sharp contours, and a minimalist design language create a sleek, exclusive look that integrates seamlessly into any modern vehicle interior.
