• 550 W RMS continuous power handling
Exceptional thermal stability and mechanical robustness ensure reliable management of 550 W RMS continuous power, allowing sustained high-performance bass output.

• .5 in. (38.6 mm) CCAW voice coil (Copper-Clad Aluminum Wire)
Combines exceptional thermal handling with reduced mass, maximizing responsiveness, precision, and durability under demanding listening conditions

• Airflow Venting Cooling (A.V.C.) prevents voice-coil overheating-related limitations
Proprietary AVC technology optimizes airflow and cooling through strategically placed internal channels, efficiently dissipating heat and maintaining consistent performance at high SPL.

• Optimized for Compact Sealed Enclosures
Engineered to perform at its best in compact sealed enclosures (12–14 L / 0.4–0.5 ft³), offering deep, controlled bass response even in space-limited setups.

• Protective Metal Mesh Grille Included
Comes with a durable black mesh grille and mounting screws, providing reliable cone protection without compromising acoustic transparency or visual elegance.

The 1.5-inch Copper-Clad Aluminum Wire voice coil, coupled with an FEM-optimized magnetic assembly, ensures efficient energy transfer and superior thermal management during extended listening sessions. The subwoofer features an extended-profile dust cap and Radial Reinforcement Framework (R.R.F.) to enhance cone stability and minimize deformation during high excursion.

The rugged die-cast aluminum basket integrates smart cable routing hooks, while the spring-loaded terminals allow secure connections with high-current 8 AWG cables.

Whether used in a single-sub or multi-driver setup, the AV 12 D2 II guarantees low-end performance that is tight, controlled and deeply engaging—faithful to the Audison philosophy of blending acoustic excellence with refined Italian design.
